XKIDS keeps the smallest amount of data needed to help you track your child's riding and stay informed about clinics, events, and group buys. Below is a plain-language summary of what we collect, why, and what control you have.
Parent: name, email, optional phone number, language preference. Child (entered by you): name, optional birth year/month, optional height/inseam, riding type/goal, optional rider IDs and home track. Race results, timing chips, and notes you add yourself.
To run your family portal — track riding progress, suggest the right next step, and contact you about clinics, events, services, and store updates you've asked about.
Marketing email is opt-in only and separate from the legal/guardian acceptance. You can unsubscribe at any time from the unsubscribe page or the footer of any marketing email.
Sign-in links, account-related notifications, and replies to your inquiries are not marketing — they continue regardless of marketing opt-in status.
We only store child data you enter as the parent or legal guardian. We do not show child names or photos publicly. We do not share child data with third parties for advertising. Child data is deleted when the parent account is deleted.
We use Supabase (database hosting, authentication, photo storage, transactional email), Vercel (web hosting). They process data on our behalf under their own published policies.
You can view, export, or request deletion of your account data by emailing hello@xkids.ca. Account deletion removes children, race results, training records, and avatar images linked to your account.
